As some of you may have heard, there is an ongoing investigation into a “botched cat cull” in Stockton that occurred at the end of December, 2020. This cull was issued by the Port of Newcastle and it left so many of the Breakwall Cats severely injured and maimed. It is heartbreaking to see the images and videos that have come from this horrific, cruel event.

The volunteers of the Stray Cats Project have been working tirelessly to catch, treat and find homes for these cats. This is a group who have been working with these cats long before the cull which included feeding them daily, desexing and microchipping. I, along with Eddy Lou (@eddylou) and Brooke Steele (@brookesteele_tattoos) want to raise money to donate to this amazing group.

I painted the faces of just some of these beautiful cats along with cat biscuits on the break wall rocks. Proceeds will be going directly to the Stay Cats Project as we want to help them as much as possible.

I can’t thank this group enough for all of their efforts. Every purchase will be greatly appreciated.
